I want to kick off this blog with the following post, I think these days we see a lot of “perfection” around the magazines, TV, social media and others.
It is hard to believe that we measure beauty based on sizes or social status; don’t take me the wrong way I respect every lifestyle and everyone but I strongly believe that everybody is beautiful.
We have to embrace ourselves and believe each one of us is special and unique.
According to the National Institute of Mental Health, 1% to 4% of women have suffered anorexia just in the U.S. vs the 6% that have suffered bulimia.
In regards of plastic surgery, breast augmentation, liposuction, nose reshaping, eyelid surgery and tummy tuck are the top 5 cosmetic surgeries procedures being breast augmentation the most popular.
I would lie if I say I never felt unsecured of my body in my life, I was and sometimes I still, however the past 2 years for me have been the step to a new life, I’ve learned to love me but most important I’ve learned to accept who I really am.
What I’m trying to say is: If you are curvy, show it! If you are thin be proud of it too. We are more than a number called size, do not let stereotypes or society dictates who you are, it is your time, your life, your body, it you! Love you the way you are, embrace your beauty and accept you in all ways, because trust me, you’re beautiful, don’t let others convince you or say the opposite.
Share the love!
XOXO
